  • ArchDESIGN/AutoSECTION

ArchDESIGN/AutoSECTION is a Techsino series dual function architectural software.

ArchDESIGN is a 2D architectural design package which allows users the speed and efficiency of staying within the 2D environment. Most times during the design process the conceptual design needs to be in 3D format, but once the time to create working drawings of each floor has arrived, it is more efficient to work entirely in the 2D environment. Should the need to develop 3D drawing arise, the ArchDESIGN model can be converted, by way of AutoLINK/AutoMODEL, into a full 3D model. This is possible because every entity created with ArchDESIGN has "z" information stored as extended entity data.

AutoSECTION is used for creating the construction elevation & section drawings from ArchT/ArchDESIGN models. Without generating a 3D model, it can create the elevation and section drawings from individual floor models or plan drawings.

    TAE (Techsino ArchT Extension)

TAE is a add-on product developed by Techsino to transcend the limitations inherent in the ArchT product. ArchT is an excellent design product for most forms of architectural design. One of the limitations most users have encountered while using ArchT is when a design structure exceeds 10 stories. In Asia, due to the high cost of land, almost all building designs exceeds 10 stories. In an effort to make ArchT a viable solution for high rise buildings, Techsino developed TAE to enhance the performance of ArchT.

    SymbolMaster

For almost all users of AutoCAD, there exists the need to view and manipulate a substantial amount of AutoCAD blocks found on the hard disk of the user, or distributed throughout a company network. As time progresses, an increasing amount of blocks will be created and added to the system. In time it becomes increasingly difficult to manage the data in a way which is structured and where it is easy to locate a desired block.

A block management system such as SymbolMaster can solve these problems. Any graphic entity within the AutoCAD R12/R13 environment, can be selected and stored as an AutoCAD block at any time with SymbolMaster. SymbolMaster can then be used to display the block images from the SymbolMaster dialog, thereby eliminating the need to memorize block names and locations. SymbolMaster's strong management capability allows the user to divide blocks into different graphic libraries as well as into groups and subgroups, according to their specific applications. For example an architect can divide parts by landings, doors, etc.. In each category you can divide the groups, such as doors, into section, elevation, and plan sub-groups. For each AutoCAD block, names can be applied for individual designations. Let SymbolMaster relieve you of the cumbersome job of creating and manipulating slide images for entry into a block dialog box. With v, this procedure is completed with two clicks of a mouse.

SymbolMaster is a professional AutoCAD block management system that is easy to implement into any existing AutoCAD system. SymbolMaster is an important tool not only for professionals, but also for new users. Because SymbolMaster supports networks, all AutoCAD users can work together using the same block libraries thereby saving time and cost.

    AutoLINK/AutoMODEL

AutoLINK/AutoMODEL is a general structural networking software of multiple fields and structural model building. It runs on AutoCAD, developed in C language with ADS. The real beauty of AutoMODEL is its ability to create 3D structural drawings from 2D plan drawings generated in ArchT or ArchDESIGN. Dialog boxes allow the engineer to enter various engineering variables, and then processing of the 3D model can begin. AutoLINK/AutoMODEL allows structural engineers to directly work on the architectural plan created with ArchT or ArchDESIGN and arbitrarily add, modify and delete the information of a beam, column, shear wall, a floor slab and load for structural design and drawing. The structural models created by AutoLINK/AutoMODEL can easily integrate with any structural software such as MASD, TBSA, and PKPM along with others. The network function enables multiple structural engineers to work on one project simultaneously. AutoLINK/AutoMODEL can subdivide the whole structure into numbers of simple models, process each simple model individually, and then integrates them together. The network functions greatly improves the processing ability if it's a complex highrise building.

AutoLINK/AutoMODEL satisfies the dreams of most structural engineers, with it's ability to:

  • Automatically convert architectural models to structural models.
  • The structural models created by AutoLINK/AutoMODEL can be exported to any structural software.

    AutoFLOOR

AutoFLOOR is a design assistant system for any complex floor slab. In addition to the traditional merit of CAD software, it greatly improves the existing structural CAD software in the following ways:

  • All the functions that AutoFLOOR performs, such as plan design, item labeling, dimensioning, stress calculation, reinforcement selection, construction drawing, and manual adjustment graphs can be completed within AutoCAD.
  • The construction drawing created by AutoFLOOR comes with a data base. All the graphic modifications, which the structural engineer makes, will automatically be updated. AutoFLOOR will maintain the data and graphics consistently.
  • AutoFLOOR can operate in manual or automatic design modes.
  • AutoFLOOR is closely integrated with AutoLINK/AutoMODEL. AutoFLOOR creates the floor construction drawing directly from the model created by AutoLINK/AutoMODEL. AutoLINK can convert any ArchT architectural drawing into a structural drawing. AutoFLOOR can then create the structural plan drawings and the floor reinforcement drawings.

    AutoSTAIR

Creating stairs is small potatos, but it is an important part of any building. AutoSTAIR is one of Techsino's series of structural software. It is an advanced development tool which integrates architectural and structural design. AutoSTAIR can extract data from any architectural software, create stair detail plans, complete stair cross sectional drawings, and automatically convert architectural stair models into structural models. AutoSTAIR can also calculate stress for reinforcement design, and output stair reinforcements drawings. AutoSTAIR can design different kinds of plate stairs, such as L style, U style and X style. AutoSTAIR is especially useful for all types of folded plate stair combination designs. AutoSTAIR can conveniently exchange data with other software. AutoSTAIR can automatically design reinforcement and is easy to manipulate, modify and communicate with other software.

    AutoSKIN

AutoSKIN is a ArchT or ArchDESIGN supplemental software for integration and simplification of the general building model. AutoSKIN can automatically or manually interface to simplify the architectural model of a highrise building which makes it very convenient and speedy for rendering and real-time animation. The main function of AutoSKIN is the ability to gut all of the interior 3D information created by an architect. The remaining model left for rendering, is a building exterior and the resultant file size and rendering time is reduced to a fraction of what it would have been.

    SDM (Structural Design Manual)

SDM (Structure Design Manual) combines a statics calculation manual and a reinforced concrete design handbook in AutoCAD environment . In Ver.1, it contains:

  • Statics calculations.
  • Stress distribution in the cross section of the structural member.
  • Curve - beam, single - span beam, four sides supported slab, etc.
  • Cross section design.
  • Rectangular beam, T- beam, rectangular column, circular column, cross column, L-column T - column etc.
  • Continuous beam design.

    TSE (Techsino Electric)

TSE is a part of the Techsino series software which was designed for electrical design and layout. TSE applies a perimeter design method with consistency between graphics and database. The user can conveniently create and modify the graphic library.
